Client Testimonials

D&C Uppermill Farm

'Euan has worked at our home on and off for almost 2 years. He began by skilfully and painstakingly rebuilding a collapsed stone wall in our terraced garden, including digging new foundations - It looks amazing and left us wanting new dry stone walls around our property. Since this initial work, Euan has completed a further 3 projects for us. We go out every morning and just look because they all look so beautiful. Euan always leaves the garden looking immaculate. We would use him again without any hesitation. It's a joy having him around as he is punctual, hardworking and friendly. We hardly know he is there. We continue to use him again and again without hesitation. The latest project is a dry stone patio... although not yet completed it is already looking stunning!

Thanks Euan for all your efforts.'

'Euan, the stone dyker, built a drystane dyke for me last year. It turned out to be more than just a wall but more like a piece of beautiful art! How you can make such a piece of artwork from a pile of rubble is just amazing. I know this wall will be here in a hundred years for future generations to enjoy and admire.'

‘I contacted Euan to build drystone walls adjacent to our new house extension. Euan built new courtyard and garden retaining walls with which we are delighted. Visitors have commented on the quality of work and the finished effect. All the work was completed on time and the worksite left tidy. Euan proved to be utterly dependable, professional and a pleasure to do business with.

Highly recommended.’

"We found Euan through a contact at Fyvie Castle, and I’m glad we did. Our first impressions were very favourable, a down to earth, honest and hard working guy. We employed Euan to build a dry stone wall along the side of our drive using stone that was gathered from old stone walls that had been demolished in the garden. The work was carried out in the early Spring of 2012, the weather was cold and damp, pretty unfavourable working conditions. Euan took a week to complete the work, and throughout turned up early and finished late every day whatever the weather, his eye for detail was impressive, from site preparation, grading of stones to the building and finishing of the wall. All was done with a professional approach to getting the best from a natural product.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Euan, and we are looking at employing his services again to continue with stage two, building a further dry stone wall on the other side of our drive once I have gathered more stone. To finish, a decent and honest individual."
